The host and El Salvador are participating for the first time at an international tournament. Most of the Umpires and Officials at the tournament are also making their first presentation. More

The Pan American Hockey Federation has completed the process for awarding tournaments for the period 2015-2017.
The prestigious Pan American Cups 2017, World Cup Qualifiers, both men and women, are awarded to the USA Field Hockey in the new “Home of Hockey” at the Spooky Nook complex in Lancaster, PA. The PAHF Congress will also be part of this flagship PAHF event.

Luciana Aymar came to The Hague with huge hopes for a fourth World Cup medal and the expectations of a hockey-loving nation on her shoulders. Unfortunately for Luciana and her teammates, the superstar – who has been voted FIH Player of the Year an unprecedented eight times – picked up a hamstring injury in the second game of the tournament and has not been able to impose herself on this competition in the way she, or Argentina, would have wanted. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has announced that the 2016 Women’s Junior World Cup has been awarded to Chile for the second time. The 16-team competition will take place from 23 November to 4 December at Hockey Club Manquehue. More
