    The first matches were played this weekend in Toronto on the two new hockey pitches that will host the hockey competitions during the upcoming Pan American Games (July 10-26, 2015). The Tournament Directors for these competitions spent three days in Toronto with the Organizing Committee to review all operational aspects of the Games. More

    PAHF leads the way with Athletes Committee meeting in Toronto

    The newly formed PAHF Athletes Committee held its first meeting in Toronto, across the street from where the 2015 Pan American Games will take place. The Athletes Committee is the first of its kind for any continental federation under FIH, and PAHF has shown its dedication to putting athletes view points on the table by supporting the committee and its members.     Canadian men win silver; Argentinian women bring back the bronze

    The hockey competitions at the 2nd Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China, were played in the new “Hockey 5s” format, which proved exciting, high scoring and entertaining for the spectators. Two of the four Pan American teams competing finished on the podium: the Canadian men finished second, while Argentina cleanly beat Japan to bring back the bronze medal on the women’s side. More

  • Passion for hockey in South Chile  

    From five sticks and one ball to a club with 200 players!

    Mauricio Flores Osorio developed a passion for hockey in Chillan, south Chile. He started with only his enthusiasm for the sport, took courses, finally bought his own stick. He had to overcome many obstacles along the way (such as having only five sticks for his first training session with 20 girls) but is now coaching in local schools, universities and the club he created has nearly 200 members, boys and girls. An inspiring story of love for hockey! More
