Today, the Peruvian Hockey Federation (FDPH) gave end to the FIH HOCKEY ACADEMY COACHING LEVEL 1 AWARD.
It is the first time that this course is given at world level. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) and the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) relied on the Peruvian Federation for running said course. “We feel very proud and grateful to the FIH and the PAHF. We thank for the confidence brought on us in running this magnificent course. We hope this shall be the first of many more” said Gianni Delucchi, President of the FDPH.
The course was conducted by Prof. Luis Pacheco Sarco who, in his wide resume, is Level 3 Coach awarded by England Hockey Board, Level 2 Tutor & Assessor --England Hockey Board and FIH Hockey Academy Level 1 Educator. The course was held from August 15th to 17th, 2014, with the participation of 23 coaches.
“We hope that with this course, which was attended by several new coaches, we shall continue to develop this beautiful sport we love so much. We know that it is leaving a large footprint in our country; being the first ones to organize this course implies a strong commitment for us and we know that we will not disappoint the FIH and the PAHF. The development of hockey in our country is increasing every day, to such an extent that a coaching course (entry level) will be held in Chiclayo, the city which holds our hockey field, from August 22nd to 24th”, said Gianni Delucchi.
The FIH HOCKEY ACADEMY COACHING LEVEL 1 AWARD held in Lima, Perú, has been entirely supported by the FIH, the PAHF and the FDPH.
