And with coach Carlos Retegui announcing he will be stepping down as coach to Las Leonas after the game, it was also a fitting tribute to the charismatic coach that he leaves this world cup with at least one medal.     In the final the day of pool play, the USA have gone undefeated rounding out their matches with a 4-2 win over South Africa. Las Leonas reached the semi-finals thanks to a 1-1 draw with China, a result which guaranteed a second place finish behind USA.
    Three PAHF teams from a total of 8 (3 from Europe and 2 from Oceania) will play the semifinals, meaning that all Pan-American participating teams have reached the semifinals at the Rabobank Hockey World Cup! More
