Tournament officials participated in a Technical and Umpiring course run in conjunction with the first ever international hockey tournament in Costa Rica.
For most of the officials this is their first participation in an international event.
Adrian Della Mattia, Tournament Director conducted the Technical course for judges representing their nations at the tournament. Cinthia Melli, Umpires Manager at the Competition was the facilitator at the umpiring course; she prepared the national umpires for the tournament.
Costa Rica Olympic Committee offered the facilities to run the courses.
