    2010 CAC Games - Day 5 (Women)

    Trinidad & Tobago vs. Guyana : 5 - 1 A relatively easy game for the girls from Trinidad after being undefeated throughout the tournament. Today they managed the game very well reaching half time with a comfortable advantage of 3-0. During the next half those from Guyana redoubled efforts and scored a goal by means of player #10, Cora TOWLER at the 61st minute, the one and only goal against Trinidad and Tobago so far in the competition! The final score was 5-1. Dominican Republic vs. Jamaica : 1 - 0 This was a very thrilling game as both teams had 3 points and were looking to untie at the ranking table. During the first half Jamaica was well over the Dominicans but they held also very well. For the second half the Dominicans developed their game a little better even though Jamaica had various opportunities to score thanks to its speedy counterattacks.     2010 CAC Games - Day 4 (Men)

    Dominican Republic vs. Jamaica : 4 - 2 Third day of competitions and the weather is still great around. Dominicans set the line of the game during the first half of the match by opening the score at minute 8 by means of player 2, Jeffrey MONCION MALENO. It didn't went long when Jamaica responded with another goal therefore tying the match at minute 20 with a goal by player 16, Julian HONORIO DEL ROSARIO. Both teams were getting more confident as time went by, taking the game to a stronger level with more arrivals and opportunities on each side. Dominican Republic scored another goal before ending the first half just 7 minutes after Jamaica tied the game. For the second half Dominicans scored another 2 goals giving them advantage over their opponent. Jamaica was practically all over Dominicans half the majority of the time but it was not until the very last minute of the game that they scored a goal in a penalty corner but still not enough to tie the game, ending 4 - 2....     2010 CAC Games - Day 3 (Women)

    Bermuda vs. Trinidad & Tobago : 0 - 4 Although it was raining in the morning the weather conditions changed and it turned to be an excellent day to play hockey. Both teams entered the field with a good performance but, Trinidad y Tobago quickly showed supremacy when players #10, Stacey SIU BUTT and #20, Kristin THOMPSON netted at minutes 20 y 34. First goal came from a penalty corner and the second one was a field goal. With this result the teams went to the break. For the second half and after the advice of their coach the women from Bermuda returned to the field with new air, but Trinidadians maintained their pace and player #3, Blair WYNNE scored twice at minutes 36 and 57. Trinidad and Tobago won 4-0. Jamaica vs. Mexico : 0 - 2 Both teams had had a good performance on the first day of the tournament, now they had the chance to show their competiveness.     2010 CAC Games - Day 2 (Men)

    Netherlands Antilles vs. Jamaica : 0 - 0 This was a hard game with short approaches to the goal line. Netherlands Antilles displayed technical and physical strength while Jamaica showed speed and skills. Both teams reached the rival area, but although it was Jamaica who had the best opportunities to score none of them was able to net to win the match. Netherlands Antilles was very close to score but Jamaica GK and defense invalidated any intend to score.   Barbados vs. Panama : 12 - 0 Very early in the first half Barbados after a number of attacks scored their first goal from a deflection by player #11, Barry CLARKE at minute 8th. The rest of the game was for Barbados who showed an excellent performance and the final result of 12-0 against Panama.     2010 CAC Games - Day 1 (Women)

    Trinidad & Tobago vs. Barbados : 3 - 0 The Caribbean derby match opened the Hockey Tournament after an important delay due to bad weather. Both teams had a number of chances to net but it was Trinidad & Tobago who achieved the advantage through player #10, Stacey SIU BUTT after 27 minutes of play; SIU BUTT had an outstanding performance throughout the game. From that moment to the very end of the match her team gained the control of the game with a final result of 3-0, resulting from two more goals from Blair WYNNE; minute 39 and 49. Bermuda vs. Guyana : 0 - 0 Bermudian players opened the game with a number of opportunities in the circle but Guyana’s defence frustrated their ambitions to score. The players from the Earth of Water had some chances to net too, but again no goals were scored. The game ended 0 -0, first match of the tournament with no goals.
