PAHF is pleased to announce the Ordinary Congress will be held in Santiago, Chile on 28^th January 2022, commencing at 08:00 am.

May I bring the following to your attention:

1.1   There is a proposal to amend the statutes of the PAHF to adjust to FIH changes in Statutes. The Proposed statutes will be sent to all NA’s as soon as approved by the FIH.

1.2   Board of Directors and/or any member may propose alterations to the Statutes at any meeting of Congress. Any proposals for alterations to the PAHF Statutes must be sent in writing by email to Ms. Laura Macchiotti at lauramac@panamhockey.org on or before November 03, 2021.

1.3   Candidates for election or re-election to any position of the PAHF Board must be nominated by his/her own NA and must be a citizen of that country. Nominations must be submitted in the appropriate form, as described in item 1.4 below.

1.4   Nominations are called for the following positions:
-        President
-        5 ordinary members of the PAHF Board, 2 women and 3 men

Attached is a list of outgoing members of the Board of Directors for general information in Annex 1 below.

Each candidate for position of President and Ordinary member is entitled to make a presentation up to a maximum of five minutes long to Congress

1.5  Any item that a member wishes to be considered for inclusion on the Agenda must be sent to the Board of Directors in writing (lauramac@panamhockey.org ) with a brief explanation on or before December 03, 2021

 1.6   Each National Association (NA) may have up to 2 delegates in attendance. One delegate must be the Head of Delegation (person entitled to vote) to be named at the opening of the Congress. The Head of Delegation must be a citizen of the country of the NA that he/she represents and accredit nationality by presenting his/her Passport. 2.    APPOINTMENT OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS

2.1   Nominations are called for members of the PAHF Committees as follows:

a) PAHF Competitions Committee

b)  PAHF Umpiring Committee

c)  PAHF Athletes Committee (from election by the athletes). Further information about this will be sent in separate communications as well related documents.

Please note that, by a decision of the Board, the Appointments Panel, Media & Communications Panel and the Medical Panel will only have a Chair who is responsible to appoint collaborators and advisors from 2015 on.

Also, as it was decided by the Board, the Development Panel became a Sub-Committee of the Board, composed by Board members and PAHF consultants.

2.2   Nominations for PAHF Committees, which close at 11:59pm (Argentina time) on November 19, 2021, must be filled online as follows:

Please note the following provisions in relation to nominations:
- Nominations Forms must be completed online;
- Nominations must include a brief statement of the nominee’s suitability for the position;
- Each NA must give to the PAHF an undertaking, expressly committing to financially support its nominee(s), so he/she can attend meetings of the Committee to which he/she is appointed.

3. GENERAL INFORMATION

A Bulletin with general information about Santiago, including accommodation options will be released soon.

Note: From November 1st, 2021, all visitors to Chile MUST be full vaccinated and have a negative PCR. No quarantine is required. More information on COVID Protocols will be sent with the bulletin.
