Maureen Craig Rousseau elected to the board of the FIH

The Trinidad and Tobago Hockey Board (TTHB) announces that at the recent 44th International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) Congress, former President of the TTHB, Mrs Maureen Craig Rousseau was elected to the Executive Board of the FIH as an Ordinary Member, securing one of the two positions available for new female members on the Board. Tournament Top Goal Scorer, Yoandy BLANCO, powered Cuba to the gold medal when he scored a hatrick in his team’s comprehensive 5-1 victory against Trinidad and Tobago in the final of the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games (Men). Both teams have however qualified for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. More

Women CAC Games - Cuba obtains Gold Medal - Day 5 x 2

Cuba were crowned 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games (Women) gold medalists when they edged Dominican Republic 4-3 in a penalty shootout after both teams played to an exciting 3-3 draw at the end of regulation time. The host country Mexico beat Trinidad and Tobago 2-1 to win the bronze medal. Cuba and Dominican Republic have also qualified for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. More
