The final round of pool-play action confirms the semifinals for the 2017 women's Pan American Cup in Lancaster, USA. Chile secured their spot as second in Pool A to Argentina and will play the first-placed team in Pool B, likely Canada, USA or Mexico. Uruguay will crossover with Brazil and play for 7th place, while Pool B will be battling it out for the last two spots in the semifinals. More

During the first game of the day TTO defeated Brazil 2-1 after tie-breaker goal at the 3rd quarter by Teague Marcano. Later, Argentina faced Venezuela for 2nd time in 3 years and obtained a wide score by 12-0 remaining leader of Pool A and invictus at the Pan American Cups in Lancaster. On the second day of Pan American Cup competition Mexico beat Brazil for their first win of the tournament. Argentina toppled Uruguay to take the top of Pool A, while USA and Canada battled it out in an exciting 1-1 draw. More

Canada beat Brazil to take the top of Pool B, while Trinidad and Tobago needed a late goal to drop Mexico on Day 2 of pool play. Gonzalo Peillat's 4 goals lifted Argentina over Chile, while USA blanked Venezuela for their first win. More

The opening day of the men’s Pan American Cup got started with victories for Chile and Canada. Both teams shutout their respective opponents, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago, while later in the day Brazil beat Mexico and Olympic champs Argentina blanked USA. More

It has been 21 years since a major international hockey event took place on USA soil – and that was just one part of a multi-sport event, the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. From 4-13 August, the Pan American Cups will be the first field hockey-only major event to take place in the USA. More
