The Pan American Hockey Federation is pleased to announce the 2022 Pan American Elite Teams.
Since 2007, Pan American Elite Teams have been named every two years to recognize the top players in Pan American competitions. Since 2017, separate Indoor Elite teams are also named.
Hockey specialists present at the 2022 Pan American Cups in Santiago, Chile, were consulted for the selection of this year’s Elite Teams.

The 2022 Men's Pan American Elite Team includes five players from Pan American Cup winners Argentina, four players for Pan Am Cup finalists Chile, then three players from Canada, two from the USA and one each from Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico.
For the 2022 Women's Pan American Elite Team, Pan American Cup finalists Argentina and Chile dominated the voting, with five players selected for Argentina and four for Chile, while semi-finalists Canada and USA are recognized with the selection of three players each.

On the Men’s side, 3 players have been selected 6 times:
- Scott TUPPER (CAN)
- Kwandwane BROWNE (TTO)
- Pat HARRIS (USA)
Pat Harris was named in the first PAHF Elite Team in 2007 and again in the last one in 2022 (he missed 2011 and 2015). Kwan Browne only missed 2015 on injury before his retirement after the 2019 Pan Am Games. Scott Tupper was a steady presence since 2009 until his retirement.
On the Women’s side, Camila CARAM (CHI) is the only player selected six times, a steady presence since 2011.
Behind Camila Caram, Brienne STAIRS (CAN) is the only player with five selections, followed by five players with four selections:

David CARTER (CAN) is the top men’s goal-keeper with 3 selections, while Claudia SCHULER (CHI) is the top women’s goal-keeper with 4 selections.
