The 3^rd match of the Men’s Youth Pan Am Championships 2014 flicked off with USA vs. Argentina.  The game began fairly even in terms of possession and shot attempts. #4 Argentina, Tomas Domene scored a firm sweep within the first 5 minutes to register their first item of the contest. Argentina scored their 2^nd goal of the contest compliments of a thunderous undercut from the right side by #9 M.Ferreiro, just seconds before the end of the first period.

USA tried to fight their way back into the game and scored within minutes of the resumption from a goal mouth scramble and resulting tap in by # 15 Mc Guigan. Argentina then replied with 2 quick goals to boost their score to 4-1. While USA seemed to match Argentina in terms of ball movement and pace Argentina surge ahead to score 2 more goals. The 2^nd period ended 6-1 in favor of Argentina.

Argentina scored yet another field goal early in the 3^rd period to bring the score to 7-1.  Their 8^th item  was scored from a raised sweep which beat the lobbing goalkeeper, while their 9^th was scored from a powerful right side strike from #8 Santiago Lean. The match ended 9-1, in favor of Argentina in a game that evolved into a one sided affair after a fairly even start.
