The 2^nd Match of the Men’s Youth Pan Am Championships 2014 pushed off with Canada versus the hosts Puerto Rico. Canada scored their 1^st goal compliments of a powerful strike just yards away from the goal by #12, A. Sidhu. Only 2 minutes later #19, B. Panesar scored a well taken reverse stick shot to bring the score to 2-0. A dead ball strike by #10 G. Espinosa Soto of Puerto Rico from the half line beat the Canada keeper to the surprise of many but the goal is disallowed. The Puerto Rican keeper then made a great save, but the ball got caught beneath the pads and Canada tapped in for their 3^rd goal of the contest. A strong baseline drive and pass to the centre, followed by a powerful strike gave Canada their 4^th goal. The 1^st period ended 4-0 in favor of Canada.

Midway into the 2^nd period Canada scored their 5^th goal from a penalty challenge by #8 A. Sidhu. Canada scored within less than a minute to bring the score to 6-0. Canada then scored their 7^th item of the contest just moments before the end of the 2^nd period. At the start of the 3^rd period with an excellent passing game and rising confidence Canada doubled their score line to end the match 14-0 in their favor.
