En el 3 y 4 de agosto 2013 los Estados Unidos organizó una serie de indoor con Canadá. Los equipos jugaron tres partidos con las nuevas reglas de indoor por la Federación Internacional de Hockey. El evento abrió con un empate 4-4. En el segundo partido del evento, los Estados Unidos ganó, 7-1, de una manera dominante. En el último partido, Canadá regresó más fuerte defensivamente, pero fue los Estados Unidos con el triunfo, 4-2. Así, los Estados Unidos terminó la serie con dos triunfos sobre Canadá.
