The Pan American Hockey Federation Umpiring Committee (PAHF UC) is pleased to announce the Umpires Workshops 2013 for our FIH International Umpires.
Participants:
The workshops are open to all PAHF Umpires who have attained their FIH International Badge.
The first seminar will be conducted in English and be held from April 19-20, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Miami Airport, USA. Participants should plan to arrive by 2:00pm on Friday 18, April 2013, and to leave by 2:00pm on Sunday 21, April, 2013.
A second workshop will be targeted towards all PAHF Umpires from its Spanish speaking countries who have attained their FIH International Badge and it will be held Montevideo, Uruguay (tentatively). This seminar will be conducted entirely in Spanish. More details will be provided later.

The sessions will be a combination of group work and presentation, interaction and discussions, understanding the game, interpretations, consistency in decision making and game management.
Accommodation and Hotel Information:
You or your National Association will be responsible for your air ticket, transportation from / to your local airport, hotel expenses and visa cost -- if applicable.
Accommodation: Crowne Plaza Hotel at Miami Airport. (Arrival on April 18. Depart April 21)
King room (1) person $149.16/night + 1 full American breakfast included
Double bedded room (2) persons $160.46/night + 2 full American breakfasts included
All taxes and gratuities included
Note that the accommodation will be in double rooms so each participant will pay U$S 80/ per night.
Meals: PAHF will be responsible for lunch and dinner on April 19th and 20th.
Registration & Seminar Fees: there will be ZERO participation fee.
Umpires are requested to confirm their attendance before February 15th 2013 to Laura Macchiotti at pahf@lauramac.com.ar. You will need to arrive in Miami on April 18th and depart April 21st
