The Pan American Hockey Federation proudly announces the “2015 Technical Courses” to be held in cooperation with USA Field Hockey and hosted by the California Cup Organizing Committee.
The PAHF has an internal mandate to develop new candidates, in each of the member countries, for officiating in events, and at the same time increase the skill level of the current technical staff.
Course Conductors will be top FIH Accredited Technical Officials (Olympic Games and Multisport Games experience).
There will be two Courses (two different levels):
(Level 1) Basic/Intermediate: This course is open to anyone and is directed towards people without previous experience or with limited experience in tournament settings. A course fee of US$40 will be charged upon registration.
(Level 2) Advanced: This course is directed towards participants who have officiated at PAHF or FIH sanctioned events, have demonstrated the ability to attain a higher level of officiating and possess the skills for management of the technical table. The information presented will be pertinent to those working towards appointments for PAHF tournaments in the future. This course can be attended by those invited by the PAHF.
The Dates and times* will be as follows:
May 21st 6 PM - 9 PM (Level 1)
May 22nd 9 AM - 6 PM (Level 1)
May 23rd 9 AM - 6 PM (Level 2)
May 24th 9 AM – 6 PM (Level 2)
May 24th 7 PM (Level 1 & 2): Banquet and Course Certification

The Courses will be held near Los Angeles California, at the Moorpark College, during the second largest Field Hockey tournament in the country. We encourage people to register early, as space is limited.
