Since 2007, Pan American Elite Teams have been named every two years to recognize the top players in the Pan American competitions. Hockey specialists present at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, and at the 2015 Pan American Challenge in Chiclayo, Peru, were consulted for the selection of this year’s Elite Teams. The II PAHF Final Coaching Seminar 2015 was successfully completed and new coaches are now certified to assist the development and growth of hockey. The Final Coaching Seminar is an important part of the Accreditation System for Coaches in the Americas and was held during the Pan American Games. More

In Toronto, during the Pan American Games 2015, Rene Granat, former president of the Venezuelan Hockey Federation and Director of the PAHF from 1995 to 2013, was nominated to receive the "Order of Merit" for his dedication to Pan American Hockey. More
