The cloudy morning of Day 5 started off with Guyana facing Guatemala to come away with maximum points and claim one of the top two spots. Guatemala’s Sandra Sis and Jessica Espino were strong and courageous in the defence, but Guyana was unstoppable. More

Guatemala and Puerto Rico, who were both on three points, opened the Men’s section of the CAC Qualifiers in Kingston, Jamaica. Despite Puerto Rico’s dominance in the first half, the score was locked at nil all going into the half time break. The scoring got underway in the 35th minute when Kenneth Rodriguez found himself on the receiving end of a counterattacking pass from Ottus Feliciano. More

Without a point and without a goal, Guatemala and Panama went in hunt for their first win in the 2017 CAC Qualifiers in Kingston, Jamaica. Throughout the first half, Guatemala’s Sandra Sis and Xiomara Flores consistently pressured Panama, but Rubi Diaz and Celina Portugal held it together to keep the ball out of goal. More

Day 4 of the Men’s CAC Qualifiers kick-started with Guyana defeating Panama by 9 goals to secure a spot in the finals. An early error by Guyana resulted in a penalty stroke taken by Manuel Correa and an easy save by Medroy Scotland. More

The CAC Qualifier in Kingston, Jamaica, resumed on Day 3 with Bermuda going up against Panama for a chance to sit at the top of the table. The first period found Bermuda on a scoring streak, starting in the 8th minute with Maya Palacio. More

The first 5 minutes at the overcast JN Hockey Field in Kingston, Jamaica started off a bit slow but Guatemala picked up the pace shortly after. Aldahir Ornano made an attempt to clear a reverse stick shot from Didier Monterroso, but Agustin Depaz took the rebound and put the men in blue ahead of the Panamanians in the 6th minute. More

The first female match of Day 2 left Guyana and Puerto Rico without a goal despite many opportunities. The first penalty corner of the game was won by Puerto Rico, but a slow pull and hesitation at the top of the D gave the Guyanese defenders enough room to clear the ball. Goalkeeper Briawna Gordon denied Marisa Miro a chance at scoring in the second period of the game. More
