    The 'third team' prepares for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

    With the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games less than two weeks away, a number of people from PAHF are preparing to travel to Australia as part of the team tasked with ensuring the Games run as smoothly as possible. PAHF is well represented at the event with five Technical Officials, including Paula Parks (Canada) and Willard Harris (Trinidad & Tobago) leading the way as Tournament Directors for the women’s and men’s event respectively.     Canada’s first loss sends them to play for 3rd place against Paraguay

    Dominican Republic played against Brazil for the second time since the start of the 2018 Pan American Youth Championship. Brazil managed to double the score from the previous encounter, making it 8 goals. Captain, Bryan Froelich gave his team an early start when he put one pass the goalkeeper in the 1st minute of the game. More

    Paraguay and Mexico to play for 3rd place

    The semi-finals of the Youth Olympics Qualifier 2018 opened with Argentina and Paraguay. By the 3rd minute of the game, Argentina was three goals ahead. At the sound of the half-time whistle Argentina was leading 6-0. Paraguay fought for a chance to play in tomorrow’s finals, but Argentina’s fast pace and remarkable display of skills kept reaping more goals. More

    The women’s section of the Youth Olympic Games Qualifier 2018 was opened by Argentina and Paraguay. Three goals from Gianella Palet helped to set Argentina on their way to a 9-0 victory. More

    The Pan Am Youth Championship 2018 resumed on day 2 with Argentina looking to retain their top spot in the pool standings when they played Paraguay. Great defending from Paraguay held off Argentina nicely in the first half, with only 1 goal scoring against them. More

    Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico sit at the top of the table on 6 points each

    The 2018 Youth Pan American Championship saw Argentina defeating Guatemala 12 – 0 in the first match of day 1 at the Pan American Hockey Stadium, Guadalajara. The Uruguayans got off to a great start in the second match, scoring 4 goals in the first half against Jamaica. The game ended 10-0. More
