The Central American Hockey 5 Development Tournament 2021 began on Wednesday, November 24 and ended on November 27 in San José, Costa Rica.
In order to continue developing hockey in the region, the teams of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama were part of the Central American Development Tournament.
Since the beginning of the Tournament, the enthusiasm for being able to compete again was noticeable, remember that they spent more than a year without being able to participate in an International event due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19.
The effort and good organization of the host allowed to develop the competition in the best way, giving to all the participants engage and work to the maximum and thus have a wonderful sporting event: a sign of the growth of the Central American countries in hockey.
The evolution in the Central American men's and women's teams resulted in increasingly close matches and with hard competition, inspiring them to raise the level more and more and achieve new victories.
After two vibrant finals, Costa Rica were crowned Women’s Champion and Guatemala Men’s Champion.
