Uruguay and Canada women qualify for the Final of the Pan American Junior Championship (and earn an automatic berth for the Junior World Cup) after defeating USA and host Chile. Argentina takes 5th place in the competition by defeating Trinidad & Tobago.

With Argentina practically attacking throughout the game, it was the Trinidad and Tobago team met in this last match to define fifth place in the tournament.
The opening of the scoring was in charge of the trans-Andean Emilia Bazzana, who in the second minute and through a penalty corner, set the 1-0 for Argentina. She would repeat the technique just a minute later, leaving the team 2-0 in the first quarter.
In the second half, Argentina scored a goal and was authored by Martina Gabutti, after the halftime break, María del Carril and Sol Guignet scored two more goals that left las leoncitas 5-0 over TTO and it was during the last quarter where they scored six more goals to get a comfortable fifth place.
The goals were from María del Carril and Amparo Correa in the 50th minute, followed by Emilia Bazzana who scored two more in the 55th and 57th minutes and Martina Giacchino the last one with just one minute remaining to finish the match.

A match that was played until the last minute, between a penalty corner and similar pressures on both goals, was the one played by the women of the United States and Uruguay, getting for the first time and in a historical event for the junior category, classified for the World Cup in South Africa.
The creator of the goal and who overflowed the celebrations on the bench in the 51st minute - and only nine minutes from the end of the match - was the player number 11t, Maria Barreiro.
Despite the pressure imposed by the North American team, where there was even one goal in the last minute of the game, they did not manage to tie the game and remain, waiting for the bronze medal on Saturday at noon. (Chile time)

Accompanied as has been the trend throughout the tournament with a full stands, las diablas could not against Canada in a match that finish 1-0.
Although the game had pressure from both teams, it was at the end of the second quarter that the player number 10, Thora Rae, scored the only goal from the game and gave the victory to the Canadian squad.
With this result, Uruguay and Canada will go for the gold, while Chile will face the United States for the third place and the bronze medal this Saturday.
