Barbados Annual Primary School's Competition 2011
The Barbados National Sports Council (NSC) recently held its annual Primary School's Competition (children aged 11 and under).The children played various mini hockey games, and also participated in skill competitions.

Barbados “Train-The-Trainers” Coaching Course 2011
The Barbados National Sports Council (NSC), in conjunction with the Barbados Hockey Federation, hosted a “Train-The-Trainers” Coaching Course for teachers and sports administrators from the Island's Primary Schools.
The Course Coordinator was Mr. Ralph Watson and the Principal Presenter was Colonel (Ret'd) Deighton Maynard (veteran Field Hockey Coach). The course was envisioned to provide local sports administrators, coaches and teachers that work with Primary Schools, with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully integrate hockey into their various sports programs.
