2017 Indoor Pan American Cups

The Pan American Hockey Federation is pleased to announce the Indoor Pan American Cups 2017 (men and women), qualifying tournaments for the FIH Indoor World Cups 2018. Following the recommendation of the Bid Evaluation Committee, the Board of Directors approved Guyana, that will host a PAHF event for the first time and it will be held in the city of Georgetown between 14 and 22 of October 2017. The exact dates will be confirmed with the definition of the schedule of matches, which will be defined upon completion of team entries.

The President of Guyana Hockey Board, Mr. Philip Fernandes, said that “it’s an exciting moment for us and we intend to showcase Guyana in the best possible way by making the tournament one of the biggest successes in recent times”.

Coco Budeisky, PAHF President, trusts that having a new country hosting a PAHF tournament will bring motivation for more countries to apply for future events.

Inscriptions are open for all member countries and the Pre-Event Notification is now available.
