As part of the plan to assist the Peruvian Hockey Federation to raise its profile and to promote hockey in the country visits were made to the Peruvian Olympic Committee and the Peruvian Institute of sport. The top priority of the Peruvian Hockey President Carlos Manual Lazarte and Secretary Gianni De Lucchi is to have a Synthetic Hockey pitch in Lima.
Discussions with the Olympic Committee related to the Bolivarian Games which will be held in 2013 in Trujillo, Peru, and efforts to have field Hockey as a sport in these games. At the Sport Institute discussions related to the need for funding for the synthetic surface, where it might be located in Lima and possible timelines for funding.
