25 girls under 17 participated in this initiative on December 1.
Under the direction of P.E. Professor and National Coach Raul Carrasco, assisted by Professor and player Norma Veas, the women's field hockey program started on Wednesday December 1, 2010.
The new sports initiative started in the commune of Huechuraba and brings together 25 girls under the age of 17. It is a leisure project on the synthetic pitch of the city. The initiative was boosted by the Town Council and approved by Chilean Olympic Committee and the Chilean Hockey Federation.
Sportswomen, primarily from La Pincoya, have the necessary equipment, sticks and balls. This program will provide a number of alternatives that improve quality of life.
