Athletics HC and Hato Rey HC met at the Junior Men’s Championship last March. The teams completed the first row balanced; it was the goal average that gave Athletics HC the lead. The final match ended in a draw 4-4 so the teams went to the Shoot out competition. It was Hato Rey HC who went out with a win with a 3-0 score. Gilberto Monserrate (Athletics HC) was awarded Top scorer with 24 goals, Marcos Sanchez (Hato Rey HC), best GK with an efficiency rate of 91.24%.
In April and May Top women’s division played their Championship. Caguas HC leaded the competition from the very start leaving the fight for the second place to Athletics HC and Hato Rey HC. Finally it was Athletics HC who won the ticket to the final against Caguas HC. The first match of the finals ended 0-0 and the second one was for Caguas HC with a 2-0 victory, and the title. 15 years old Lyneishka Leon (Athletics HC) was the Top Scorer and Stephanie Garcia (Caguas HC) GK of the tournament with an efficiency rate of 96.43%.
