Today, Argentina played their second match in the Champions Trophy, this time against Australia, second in last World Cup in Netherlands, a few months ago.
It was an even match with many opportunities for both, but neither team were able to get on the scoreboard. The Hockeyroos were the first to score, and kept the lead until Luciana Aymar scored the equalizer for Las Leonas in the fourth quarter.
The match ended with a draw 1-1. Only Luciana Aymar’s magic skills could compensate the fans, who expected more goals from these top squads.
After the match we were able to meet the Argentinean Charo Luchetti. Charo was thankful to all the Latin Americans who had travelled from all parts of the continent to live this celebration.
