Argentina beat Mexico 14- 1 on Day 1 of Hockey5s competition of 2014 Women’s Youth Pan Am Championships, in Montevideo Uruguay. The win made Santiago Capurro’s team confident to win over USA on an even match with ball possession shared by the teams.
In the morning, Tamara Durante’s girls had a good match against Uruguay and were able to gain the 3 points after their narrow victory 2-1, a few minutes before the end of the contest.
The host showed improvement and pleased the crowed stands of fans with a 7-0 win over Mexico.
Tomorrow morning the four participating teams will close the group, leading to the second round before the finals
