The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) is continuously working at all possible levels to turn competitions into Events, where more than just matches will take place. Development, Coaching, Technical and Umpiring Courses are possible options to be conducted simultaneously with competitions.
Presenting proper package bids, including Bid Forms, Hosting Contract and Financial Agreement is crucial in this process. This bid package will provide information to assist the PAHF Board of Directors in deciding which National Association will be able to offer the best possible conditions to organize a specific PAHF Event, to raise the profile of the sport in the host nation and to advance the status of hockey in the Americas.
Considering the above and the future Events to be awarded, we are pleased to call on our member National Associations to bid on hosting one or more of the PAHF Events as listed below for the period 2015‐2018:

The following is a brief summary regarding the above Events and their specific international level:
Men’s Pan Am Challenge 2015
This is a qualifier for the PAHF Men’s Pan American Cup 2017 and consequently to the FIH Men’s World Cup. It is an entry opportunity for nations to compete in PAHF events, to raise their level of play and also get World Ranking points.
South American Championships 2016
This is a regional tournament to promote integration and competition among South American countries.
Junior Pan Am Championships 2016
For experienced U‐21 players progressing to the highest level. Qualifiers for the FIH Junior World Cups.
Pan Am Cups 2017
Highest level of PAHF Competition: Qualifiers for the FIH World Cups
Indoor Pan Am Cups 2017
These are qualifiers for the FIH Indoor World Cups, the highest level of PAHF Competition for Indoor Hockey.
Youth Pan American Championships 2018
These are the Hockey5s qualifiers for the Youth Olympic Games (Buenos Aires 2018). Important opportunity for U18 players and teams to start competing at a high‐performance level for their age group.
The PAHF invites National Associations to submit their Bid(s) by the 31st of March, 2014, identifying the Event or Events with preferred dates (please review all hockey schedules of the FIH and PAHF to avoid conflicts) and send it to:

Please note a COMPLETE bid includes:
1) The completed bid form;
2) The signed contract by bidding National Association – upon acceptance by the PAHF Board it will be signed by the PAHF;
3) The signed copy of the financial agreement for the event.
