Today, PAHF technical committee made a final visit to the Hockey Stadium at San Jose School, site of the Hockey Tournament of the XVII Bolivarian Games, where work has been completed . Teams are working hard at training sessions looking forward to the coming tournament.
Ecuador’s men team will face their first ever international tournament in the opening match against Chile, a country with important hockey background. Technical Officials are getting ready to offer their best effort in this event.
It was interesting to see stands populated with lot of young students. The young fans showed excitement when watching the training sessions of the teams. San Jose School, host of our sport, counts more than 6000 students at various levels.
Bolivarian Games legacy will boost hockey development and spread out of our sport in the region expanding hockey within Peru.
