PAHF President Coco Budeisky and Board Member Mary Cicinelli visit the site of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto

While attending the meeting of the General Assembly of PASO (Pan American Sports Organization) in Toronto, newly elected President of the PAHF, Coco Budeisky, took advantage of the opportunity to make a visit to the site of the hockey competition for the 2015 Pan American Games at the University of Toronto (picture).

He also met with members of the Organizing Committee and provided comments on the competition schedule and the venue itself. The President stated that he was pleased with progress on the facility and that hockey would benefit from the central location and the unique setting of the University of Toronto.

Also attending the PASO meeting from hockey were Tony von Ondarza, Executive Member of the Association of Pan American Sport Federations, Sue Neill, representing the FIH, and Annette Knott, Secretary General of the Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee.

During the meetings, PASO awarded the 2019 Pan American Games to Lima, Peru (see article). These Games are due to take place between July 26 and August 11 in 2019, and will feature 10,000 athletes competing in 36 sports.
