The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) held it biannual Congress in Mendoza, Argentina, during the Women’s Pan American Cup.
Tony von Ondarza, who had been President of PAHF for 26 years, retired and was made an honorary Member of PAHF. Alberto “Coco” Budeisky was elected President by the Congress.
There were also elections for Board members and the new Board of the PAHF for 2014-2015 is composed of:

- Derek Sandison, Honorary Treasurer
- Danae Andrada, Vice President
- Mary Cicinelli, Vice President
- Maureen Craig Rousseau, Vice President
- Nicole Grant
- Walter Kramer
- Herberth Lovo
- Ademir Montenegro
- Hector Motta Rios
- Pamela Stuper
The Board met after the Congress and appointed Julio Neves as the Managing Director of the PAHF. He will assume his full time duties, managing the day to day activities of the PAHF, later this year.
The Board also appointed Committees to help in the work of the PAHF:
- Competitions (chairperson: Willard Harris)
- Development (chairperson: Laura Darling)
- Media & Communications (chairperson: Yan Huckendubler)
- Medical (chairperson: Dr Leticia Ramirez Ceballos)
- Umpiring (chairperson: Roger St. Rose)
- Appointments (chairperson: Laura Pigretti)
The Board established an Athletes Committee to give a voice to the athletes in the administration of the organization. A call to all National Association for nominees to this new Committee will be sent out soon and it is hoped that the Athletes Committee will be a valuable asset in the administration of the PAHF in the future. The Committee will initially be chaired by Scott Sandison, the current PAHF representative on the FIH athletes Commission.
