Kwan Browne, Trinidad & Tobago

Former captain of the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s Hockey Team, Kwandwayne Browne, continues to dazzle the international hockey community with his pursuits. At the England Hockey Awards dinner held last Friday the former Queen’s Royal College student copped the much coveted England Hockey Performance Coach of the year title for the 2012-2013 season, edging out the Great Britain Senior Ladies Hockey Team coach Danny Kerry, who was tipped to win after his team finished 3rd at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012.

Kwan, as Player-Coach of Canterbury Hockey Club Men’s first team, marshaled his charges to a 3rd place finish in the Pensions Men’s Hockey League, Men’s Premier Division 2012-2013 season. Following these achievements Kwan has recently been appointed as the England Hockey U-16 Boys Assistant Coach and as a Coaching Consultant for England Hockey.

The Trinidad and Tobago Hockey Board would like to congratulate Kwan on his recent achievements and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
