The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) organized in Dominican Republic an Umpiring Course conducted by International Umpires Manager Cinthia Melli. 30 hockey umpires participated in the course, which enabled the growth of these young umpires.
There are 10 local associations affiliated to the Dominican Hockey Federation and they were all represented at the course. Cinthia Melli was able to share her passion for umpiring and transmitted to the attendees a good number of theoretical and practical skills.
The opening session was at the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) where Mr Rafael Sosa, President of the Hockey Federation, encouraged his young umpires to continue with their successful development process.
