After the second day of the South American Championship (women) in Santiago de Chile, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay top the table, while Brazil, Paraguay and Peru are still looking for their first victory.

In the first day of the tournament, the locals beat Paraguay 10-0. On second day however, against Brazil, they could only take a lead of 3 goals in the first half, before increasing their tally in the second period.
Uruguay, third in the list of candidates, had a tight first match with Brazil, winning only by 1 to 0. On the second day of the competition Uruguay had a more comfortable victory over Peru by 18 to 0.
Brazil, Peru and Paraguay, who came to the event to gain international experience, have not been able to obtain a victory, yet.
