The FIH has just launched a new competition, the “Hockey World League”.
The new Hockey World League is divided into four rounds and will ultimately serve as a qualification tournament for both the World Cup and Olympic Games. Men’s and women’s national teams from 60 countries are expected to take part in the competition with over 2,000 players, 350 matches and 6,000 caps accumulated.

For men, Round 1 for the Pan American region will be organized in Chula Vista, USA, with teams from the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico and the USA (Schedule).
