Match Quotes
Trinidad & Tobago’s Coach Anthony MARCANO
On the match…
It was a nice game. We were more focused and much better today. And we had more goals.
On finishing in seventh place…
I think it is still a good opportunity and still important as well that we now qualify to an Olympic Qualifier. We could not get to the medal round, but it is still important to go to a Qualifier and now we have time to train and get better.
On this (second) match against Barbados…
We were more disciplined and more organized. We watched a lot of video and discussed it in our meetings. We wanted to work on our defense and I thought we played much better on defense today and intercepted well when we needed to and that was the difference.
Barbados’ Coach Elius FANUS
On the match and playing Trinidad & Tobago…
It is a rivalry. They win, we win. They were better today. Our ladies played well. And the difference between the two teams was their player, Blair WYNNE.
