Important win for Uruguay women’s National Team

Paraguay and Uruguay played in Day 4 of the South American Championships in ODESUR. 

Uruguay needed a big victory with a big score to get closer to the finals and fight for a medal. Paraguay was also motivated and cameo out to win. The first half had an intense pace and both teams were able to score. But it was Uruguay who kept the possession of the ball and built the difference; the teams went into halftime 5-1 in favor of Uruguay. 

Uruguay was the owner of the pitch and pace in the second period. Paraguay could not keep the rhythm and suddenly became too tired. Las Celestes turned more offensive. The girls coached by Gonzalo Ferrer scored 4 more times and the match ended 9-1 for Uruguay.
