“Los Leones” showed their paws again and defeated the National Team of Brazil
Argentina showed its superiority once again in this South American Championship defeating the team led by coach Claudio Rocha 6-1.Both teams generated attack fronts but Argentineans were the first to score a goal. Brazil also had scoring opportunities but was not effective enough. By the end of the first half the score favored Argentina by 3-0.
The second half was much better for both teams which intended to improve their results. Brazil tried to be more offensive but this would also lead to defensive errors that would give Argentina the chance to score 3 more times. Brazil could finally score, by minute 57’, with a field goal by Lucas Paixao.
