Venezuela surprised but it was Argentina who went out with the victory
Men’s National teams from Argentina and Venezuela played the fifth game of the day in the South American Championships. Four minutes from the beginning of the match Venezuela took advantage of Argentina’s distraction and opened the score with a field goal by the Captain Andy Adrián Herrera. A few minutes later Argentina was fully recovered and looked for the opportunity scoring four times. The teams went to the break with Argentina in advantage for 4-1 over Venezuela.
The teams had several opportunities to increase the score in the second period; Argentina scored from two penalty shots and Venezuela took his chance, breaking Argentina’s defense scoring twice. Finally Guillermo Schickendantz from Argentina was the one who closed the score 10-3 for his team.
