In the last men’s game of Day 1, in the South American Championship Chile, played against Venezuela 
in a balanced match. With stands full of fans cheering their National Team the locals came out to win at 
home, but found a young, energetic and passionate team who battled until the last minute. 

Chile went to the half time with the minimum advantage. In the second half tension increased and the 
host took advantage of their technical skills and scored again. Chile beat Venezuela 2-0.
