The 5^th match of the Men’s Youth Pan Am Championships 2014 pushed off with Guatemala vs. USA. In what seemed to be a fairly even contest the score was 2-1 in favor of the USA at the end of the 1^st period. USA then scored 3 goals early in the 2^nd period to surge ahead, to bring the score to 5-1. Guatemala replied, scoring just seconds before the end of the 2^nd period to bring the score to 5-2.

Guatemala then scored yet another goal in the 1^st minute of the 3^rd period 5-3 in favor of USA. USA replied fiercely scoring 2 goals in quick succession with some quick passing. USA continued to dominate the match scoring 2 more goals in the period to end the match 9-3 in their favor.
