The 2^nd Match of the day featured Puerto Rico vs. Guatemala.  Puerto Rico opened the scoring in the 1^st minute of the contest with a tap in on the last post from #7, G. Sanchez Navarro.  Enjoying more of the possession in the 1^st period Puerto Rico went on to score another goal in the 8^th minute to bring the score to 2-0. With some spirited defending Guatemala was able to stave off an eager Puerto Rican attack for the score to remain 2-0 at the end of the 1^st period.

Puerto Rico scored their 3^rd goal early in the 2^nd period with another field goal by # 8, H. Motta Ortiz.  Fighting their way back into the game Guatemalan # 3, J. Anzueto Chavez scored a reverse stick shot to bring the score to 3-1. In reply, only seconds later, Puerto Rican # 15,G. Monserrate Cardona, blasted a powerful strike on goal to bring the score to 4-1. Puerto Rico scored yet again to bring the score to 5-1 to close the 2^nd period.

Early in the 3^rd period Puerto Rican #15, G. Monserrate Cardona, scored again just yards away to get their 6^th item of the contest. In a match which saw no extended possession of the ball by either team Puerto Rico were able to conclude the match as victors, winning their 1^st game of the tournament with a score of 6-1.
