The 4^th match of the Men’s Youth Pan Am Championships 2014 was Canada vs. Mexico. Canada scored in the 2^nd minute with a strike from #18, Brandon Pereira. Canada went on to score their 2^nd goal just 2 minutes later. Their 3^rd goal of the contest came from a penalty challenge skillfully taken by #12, A. Sidhu.  Just seconds before the end of the 1^st period Canada scored again to bring the score to 4-0.

Intense pressure by Mexico saw them score in the early minutes of the 2^nd period. Just moments after a mistake by Mexico #9, Mercado Pintor allowed Canada to capitalize with another goal to bring the score to 5-1. This trend seemed to continue as Canada relied on a quick passing game and capitalized on Mexico’s defensive errors. At the end of the 2^nd period the scored stood at 7-1 in favor of Canada. Canada scored 4 early goals at the start of the 3^rd period to bring the score to 11-1. The match eventually ended 12-1 in favor of Canada.
