Guadalajara, Mexico: 18 to 23 of September 2012 - For Men and Women


The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) is pleased to invite Coaches of the Continent to join the Hockey Coaching Course during the 2012 Pan American Junior Championships (Men and Women) that will be held from 10 to 23 of September 2012, in Guadalajara, Mexico.


Course Information:
The Course will be carried out from September 18, 8 PM to September 23, 12 PM with certificates delivery. The course includes theoretical sessions, practical sessions and match observation during tournament. This will be an excellent opportunity for the coaches of the Continent to recycle and exchange technical information with other Continental colleagues, at an International Event sanctioned by PAHF. The Course will be dictated in Spanish, with translation to English whenever necessary. Participants will be limited to 20. Also there will be place for 5 observers, at the most. The Conductors are certified by PAHF: Ernesto Lucero (ARG) and Veronica Planella (CAN).

ourse Activities:

• Registration, Opening & Introduction of the Course Conductors and participants.
• Theoretical and practical sessions, special presentations and contributions of the participants;
• Analysis of the matches of the Hockey Tournament;
• Official Closing and delivery of participation certificates and CD with Course Contents;


Notes:
   
1- All participants will receive the complete program of the course after their final registry. Remember to bring your own sports outfits and hockey sticks for the practical sessions;

2- Aptitudes of the Participants: Coaches who will participate are expected to have fair knowledge of the game and preferably be experienced at coaching hockey at development level. The participants should also to be able to transfer their new know-how to other coaches in their countries so that the PAHF can be sure that the standards of Coaching through this progressive and effective learning are being reached and, the process of education improved.


Cost for Participation:

The cost for participation in the Course will be of US$350, which includes: 5 nights of accommodation at the Hotel Santiago de Compostela (http://www.hotelsantiagodecompostelagdl.com/) in Double Room, breakfast, local transportation to and from the venue, the right to attend the course and a certificate of official participation issued by the PAHF. For those who will not be staying at Hotel Santiago de Compostela, course fee is US$100.

Meals are not included, but will be available at the Hotel Santiago de Compostela for US$9.50 per person, per meal. Other options are also available at the surrounding area. Participants must also take care of their own transport arrangements to and from Airport upon arrival and departure (estimate fare is US$25).

Inscriptions:

Interested participants must request inscription by sending the FORM OF REQUEST (one per person) completed in their totality and signed by the applicant and by the appropriate National Hockey Association, to julio.neves@panamhockey.org BEFORE DEADLINE FOR INSCRIPTIONS: 25 of August of 2012.
