Teams Qualified for 2003 Pan American Games
The Pan American Hockey Federation has announced the teams that have qualified for the 14th Pan American Games to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from August 2-13, 2003.
The men's teams that have qualified for the tournament are:
- Dominican Republic | Host |
- Canada | Winner of the 1999 Pan American Games |
- Argentina | Winner of the 2003 South American Championships |
- Trinidad and Tobago | Winner of the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games |
- Barbados | Second at the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games |
- Cuba | Winner of the 2000 Pan American Cup |
- Chile | Fourth at the 2000 Pan American Cup |
- USA | Fifth at the 2000 Pan American Cup |
The women's teams that have qualified for the tournament are:
- Dominican Republic | Host |
- Argentina | Winner of the 1999 Pan American Games |
- Chile | Second at the 2003 South American Championships |
- Trinidad and Tobago | Winner of the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games |
- Jamaica | Second at the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games |
- USA | Second at the 2001 Pan American Cup |
- Canada | Third at the 2001 Pan American Cup |
- Uruguay | Fourth at the 2001 Pan American Cup |
