PAHF - Special Project for Deaf Children

"Jean Piaget School" (special education for deaf people) and the Educative Center "Teachers Lucio Lucero" of the city of San Luis (Argentina) have developed, in conjunction, a special project for field hockey, a good example of FIH/ PAHF program SPORT FOR ALL.

The young players with hearing problems prepare themselves separately and are usually play with other children without hearing problems, this way they have an interesting exchange thanks to the enormous dedication from their professors Marcelo Galarreta and professors Susana Brusco de Rigau and Mónica Borsotto. The FIH and the PAHF have contributed with the shipment of equipment; sticks, balls and GK equipment, to continue supporting these initiative that remarks the virtue of sport in the integration of the human being, each with their own possibilities.

Local Press highlighted the activity supported by the educative authorities of the city, the Province Hockey Federation and the Argentinean Hockey Confederation.
