2008 PAHF Technical Seminar
May 2-3, 2008 - Victoria, BC, Canada
During the WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier, April 26 to May 4
Technical Officials who are involved with Domestic or International Tournaments and are interested in further developing their skills in managing tournaments are invited to apply for participating in the seminar. Participants must be recommended by their National Hockey Federation.
We are thankful to Field Hockey Canada for its collaboration, co-operation and hospitality in allowing this seminar to take place during the Women’s World Hockey Olympic Qualifier.
The Head Conductor will be Janet Ellis, Tournament Director for the 2008 Olympic in Beijing, China. Janet has over twenty years of experience in this field. She was also the Tournament Director for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. She has been a Tournament Director for numerous Pan American Tournaments. We are grateful that Janet has volunteered her time to conduct the seminar.
COSTS:
PAHF WILL NOT CHARGE FEES for the attendance of this Technical Seminar. Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements and must pay for their expenses for: accommodation, meals and local transportation (to/from the airport) and a day pass ($16) for the games on May 3.

Rates are in Canadian funds and based on single or double occupancy. $19.00 per additional adult. ROOM TAXES: 10% Provincial Hotel Tax and 5% GST.

PARTICIPATION:
A maximum of twenty participants will be allowed. In the case of an overwhelming response, it may be necessary to limit the number of applicants per country.
PARTICIPANTS' QUALIFICATION:
Participants who will participate in this course must have good working knowledge of the rules and experience in hockey. The main language of the course will be English.
