May 28, 2007 May 25-28, 2007 - Moorpark, California Since 1972 in the sunny California mountains, with venues in Moorpark College and California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, every year during Memorial Weekend hockey fans meet to participate in USA's largest club tournament, with a total of 135 registered teams who play during the four day event. Twelve divisions where Women, Men, Boys ,Girls and children of USA and other countries compete. Visiting teams for 2007 were Argentina, Canada, Chile, India, Taiwan and Mexico. Games were officiated by umpires from Argentina, England, Mexico, Pakistan, Paraguay, Trinidad Tobago and USA. California Cup offers its participants not only the enjoyment of the sport, the sunny skies and the peaceful surroundings, but also the opportunity to visit the beaches from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara, Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland and Las Vegas and to discover the history of the California missions.
