Argentina - Chile : 2 - 0

Today's game went out with ease for the first half, both teams attacked each others side with no goals for neither team. For the second half, Argentina prevailed with the only two goals of the match in about two minutes. The first one at minute 38 by player #18, Felipe SUEIRO and the second one at minute 39 by player #14, Santiago SERRANO. This not only means that Argentina is a tough competitor to be at the finals but also that Chile is going to be a tough one fighting for 3rd place.

USA - Canada : 2 - 1

A very important match for both teams today, the winning team will be against Argentina to fight for the first place of the tournament. Canada started playing smart and giving a hard time to the USA. It was not until minute 26 that player #11, Brenden BISSETT, capitalized a goal to give advantage to Canada and keep it for the rest of the of the half.

On the second half, USA still couldn't find its way around the Canadian defense but finally they did it at minute 44 by means of player #5, Christian LINNEY. Canada wasn't willing to let go this win and pushed harder on to USA, not letting them out their own half. They had many close opportunities against USA's goalkeeper, unfortunately no goal was asserted.

On the other hand USA had luck in a very good counter attack at minute 55 by means of player #6, Andrew KANERVA, whom stole advantage from Canada. Despite Canada's constant attacks, USA defended very well and maintained its position through the rest of the game. This finally let them claim the last ticket for the final against Argentina.
