Chile was moving faster over USA and the latter counter-attacked as soon as they got in possesion of the ball. By the 28th minute, USA player #5 Christian LINNEY gave advantage to his team scoring the first goal of the match by pushing the ball on a penalty corner, and refreshing the game. USA continued to attack over and over on Chile's goal but no goal was scored. Chile came out with more attitude on the second half and that resulted on the first goal for their team at the 48th minute by player #5 Pablo PURCELL with a beautiful penalty corner shot. They continued to have more opportunities throughout the rest of the game but no luck in scoring a goal. Canada had very good control in possesion of the ball and recovered very well from the attacka of the Mexicans; on the other hand Mexico played very tight and with fast attacks up front. The first half finished with no score for neither team. On the second half the game heated up a little bit more as both teams were trying even harder to win the three points, but it was not until the 66th minute that Canada's player #12 Justin DHALIWAL scored the winning goal. Mexico had one last chance to tie the game, but no luck. | ||||||
